cork.

a stopper
a cork
a blindfold and a gag
grasping
gasping
helpless to speak out

blinded
in tears
and so long in the dark
vengeful
and angry
yet unable to break out

fearful
and hopeless
sobbing without words
gagged
bound
shivering and alone

wordless
weeping
and no one hears a sound
longing
to be home
but lying there alone.
